今天群里一朋友遇到一问题：
Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes
查了一下，原来是MySQL在UTF-8下的BUG
把varchar(255)改成varchar(200)就OK了
 
不过，这个BUG存在五年了，还没修复，唉……

一、简介
Redmine是一套开源、免费跨平台的项目管理系统，是项目管理界的后起之秀。是中小型开发团队项目管理的首选系统。
Redmine跟Trac类似，但是支持多项目、wiki、多种版本控制系统（Subversion、Git、Mercurial）。
Subversion就不累述了。
 
Subversion的帐号管理默认只能通过htpasswd添加及管理密码。新员工加入团队或者离开团队时SVN帐号管理起来都非常不方便。通过redmine系统可以实现员工自行操作实现修改密码、忘记密码取回等操作。
今天就探讨一个使用Redmine帐号来验证Subversion的简单应用及高级应用。
二、软件准备
Subversion 1.4以上版本、Apache 2.0以上版本、mod_dav_svn.so（注意要和apache版本对应）、redmine、mod_auth_mysql 2.8以上版本
本次实验的版本号如下：
subversion 1.6.5（通过yum从rpmforge装的）、apache 2.2（centos rpm装的）、mod_dav_svn.so（同样通过yum从rpmforge装的）、redmine 0.8.7
mod_auth_mysql（同样通过yum从rpmforge装的）
上述三个软件以及两个apache插件装好后就可以开工啦。（redmine具体安装方法请参考官方安装文档或者网上教程）
什么，你说我懒？！
那就对了，我们要把精力放在关键的地方，非关键的地方能快速通过的就快速通过。
三、简单应用
先来个简单的应用：redmine系统中所有注册且已经激活的帐号能访问SVN。

mysql默认提示符是一成不变的“mysql>”，在多实例环境中，很容易就分不清楚当前在操作哪个实例上的哪个库，有没有办法改变这种状况呢？

MySQL自带了一个mysql.server脚本，用来启动、重启、关闭mysql服务
不过这个脚本监听默认的3306端口，以及只用/tmp/mysql.sock
在一台服务器上跑多个MySQL实例的情况下，使用这个脚本就会造成冲突。
对mysql.server脚本大概读了一下，将之修改成可以适用于一台服务器跑多个MySQL的环境。

索引用来快速地寻找那些具有特定值的记录，所有MySQL索引都以B-树的形式保存。如果没有索引，执行查询时MySQL必须从第一个记录开始扫描整个表 的所有记录，直至找到符合要求的记录。表里面的记录数量越多，这个操作的代价就越高。如果作为搜索条件的列上已经创建了索引，MySQL无需扫描任何记录 即可迅速得到目标记录所在的位置。如果表有1000个记录，通过索引查找记录至少要比顺序扫描记录快100倍。
